The Exoracing stainless steel V-band clamp with flanges is a weld-on clamp kit designed to create a strong, serviceable and leak-free joint in stainless exhaust, turbo, downpipe, intake or intercooler pipework. Instead of using a flat flange, gasket and bolts, the male and female V-band flanges locate into each other and are held together by the clamp, making the joint quicker to remove and refit when you need access.
Important: this is a weld-on fabrication part. Make sure your pipework is stainless steel, clean and the correct size before welding. Professional installation is recommended.
A V-band clamp is one of the cleanest ways to join two sections of performance pipework when you need the joint to be strong, compact and easy to remove. Traditional two-bolt or three-bolt flanges rely on bolts and a gasket. That can work, but on turbo and exhaust systems, it often means seized bolts, awkward access and gaskets that need replacing when the joint is disturbed.
Our self-aligning V-band kit uses a male flange and a female flange. Once the flanges are welded to your pipework, they locate into each other, and the clamp locks them together. This gives you a secure seal without needing a separate gasket, which is ideal for downpipes, removable exhaust sections, turbo setups and fabrication work where access matters.
This is especially useful on cars that are worked on regularly. If you remove a downpipe, B-pipe, turbo outlet, screamer pipe or exhaust section for servicing, track use or future changes, a V-band joint makes that job far easier than fighting rusty hardware in a tight space. If the joint is close to a turbo or exhaust housing, it is also worth managing nearby heat with an Exoracing turbo blanket, Exoracing exhaust wrap or Exoracing heat reflective tape.
Match the flange bore size to the pipework size you are using. Before welding, offer the flange up to the pipe and check that the bore and pipe line up cleanly so the joint does not create a step or restriction inside the pipework.

| Use Case | Why It Helps |
| Turbo and downpipe joints | Makes turbo and downpipe removal easier without fighting seized flange bolts. |
| Exhaust sections and B-pipes | Creates a compact service joint for custom exhaust systems and track cars. |
| Race and track builds | Allows quicker access to pipework, turbo parts and exhaust sections between events. |
| Stainless intake or intercooler pipework | Can be used on stainless-steel fabricated pipework where a strong, removable joint is needed. |
Although V-band clamps are simple once fitted, correct welding and alignment matter. If you are not confident fabricating stainless pipework, ask a professional fabricator to install the clamp kit.

No. Once the male and female flanges are welded correctly, the flanges locate into each other, and the clamp holds the joint together without a separate gasket.
Choose the flange bore size that matches the pipework size you are building around. If you are unsure, measure the pipe and check the bore before welding.
This kit is made from 304 stainless steel and is intended for stainless fabrication work. Make sure the material is suitable for your application before welding.
Yes. V-band clamps are commonly used on turbo downpipes and exhaust sections because they make removal and refitting far easier than traditional bolted flanges.
