Pack of 10 Exoracing stainless steel cable ties for exhaust wrap, heat sleeving, wiring and high-heat areas. Choose 200mm or 300mm lengths.
£9.99
Exoracing stainless steel cable ties are designed for securing exhaust wrap, heat sleeving, hoses, wiring and other parts in areas where normal plastic cable ties can soften, melt or fail. Each pack includes 10 cable ties made from 304 stainless steel with a roller ball locking design.
Important: choose a tie long enough to wrap around the part with enough tail to pull tight. Trim any excess after fitting and avoid leaving sharp edges exposed.
Plastic cable ties are useful around the workshop, but they are not suitable for high-heat areas near exhausts, turbochargers, manifolds or heat shielding. Heat can soften plastic ties, causing them to loosen, snap or melt.
Exoracing stainless steel cable ties are made from 304 stainless steel so they can secure parts in hotter areas where a standard tie would not survive. They are ideal for exhaust wrap, heat sleeve, wiring protection, hoses, pipes and general high-temperature securing jobs.
The roller ball locking design helps the tie stay fastened once tightened, while the stainless construction resists heat, corrosion, abrasion and chemical exposure better than plastic alternatives.
If you are unsure, measure around the part you are securing and choose the closest tie length up. It is better to trim excess than to choose a tie that is too short.

Installing stainless steel cable ties is simple, but care should be taken when tightening and trimming because cut stainless edges can be sharp.
Yes. These cable ties are made from 304 stainless steel and are suitable for high-temperature areas where plastic cable ties may soften, melt or fail.
Choose 200mm for smaller jobs and 300mm for larger diameter parts, exhaust wrap or wider heat sleeve. If you are unsure, measure around the part and choose the closest size up.
They can usually be released by carefully lifting the locking ball with a small flathead screwdriver, but for best results on important installs we recommend fitting a new tie.
They are best used for exhaust wrap, heat sleeve, hoses, pipes, wiring and general high-temperature securing jobs.
Yes, where a metal tie is suitable. They are especially useful in hot or harsh areas, but plastic ties may still be better for light-duty interior or low-temperature jobs where flexibility is more important.
