Why Use An Exoracing T25 Turbo Oil Drain Gasket?

If you’ve ever experienced leaking from your turbocharger drain flange, it is probably because your old gasket has blown out or cracked.

This is where our Exoracing oil drain gaskets come in. Made from 1mm gasket paper, they are designed specifically for T25 and T28 turbochargers, but it might be worth checking the specifications table below before ordering to ensure they fit your turbo.

If you plan to use a turbocharger in your vehicle, it’s crucial to consider the importance of proper lubrication. One way to ensure smooth and efficient operation is by allowing a steady oil flow to the turbocharger.

In addition, many aftermarket turbos require a turbo drain flange and gasket to prevent any fluid leaks that may occur during use. To address this concern, a drain flange gasket is available, designed to fit most turbos with the correct spacing for a tight and secure seal.

This easy-to-install solution can help prevent costly and potentially dangerous repairs, although please check the installation guide to install this product correctly, or please get in touch with a professional.

Exoracing T25 Turbo Oil Drain Gasket Installation Guide:

If you want to learn how to install the oil drain gasket before ordering or have already bought one and want to install it as soon as possible, follow our step-by-step guide below. If you are unsure about any of the steps, please contact a professional, as incorrect installation can, in the worst case, cause turbocharger failure.

1. First, ensure the turbocharger and surrounding parts are cool to the touch to reduce the risk of burns.
2. Drain the oil from the engine to reduce the chance of oil spillage.
3. Remove the two bolts holding the turbo oil drain line and flange to the turbocharger cartridge, then remove them.
4. Remove the oil drain gasket and check it against the new one to ensure perfect fitment.
5. Install everything in reverse order, remembering to torque everything according to factory specifications.
6. Run the engine for a few minutes to check for leaks. If there are no leaks then run the engine though 3-4 heat cycles and go back and retorque the oil drain bolts.
7. You are all done! Remember to tag us on social media with any photos of our products or your builds, as we would love to see them! #exoracinguk
